Oh Nuts!
Since church starts at one for us we always have lots of time to get ready for church. Today was no exception. Kids were dressed and ready and mom and dad were finishing up. Rylan was wanting a snack because he saw daddy eating something. So with a lot of persuading on his part Rylan got a little piece of pistachio, a little smaller than a pea. I was in the back room and heard him whining and assumed he and Mikayla had been fighting over something. When he got to me he started spitting stuff into my hand. At first we thought maybe he didn't like it but no more than 30 seconds latter he started having a reaction. We stopped everything and put some hydrocortisone cream on his face and gave him benadryl. After realizing it was still spreading on his face we undressed him and put him in the tub. This seemed to help. Now that he is sleepy and in bed and we missed church we have decided No Nuts for Rylan!

That rash looks exactly like Matthew's when he reacted to the peanut butter! The Allergist said that an 1/8 of a peanuts would probably be fatal for Matthew. We now carry an epi-pen around now, just in case he eats some.
Hopefully Matt and Rylan will out grow their allergies.
Oh my goodness! Glad you were at home to find out about this allergy. Wow! Poor little guy.
He sure does look like his daddy!
